In a digital age, the importance of craftsmanship can get overlooked in favor of new fabrication technologies and mass production. This project is the result of a process thats starts with a digital design leading to a handmade fabrication excercise to create a functional everyday object. Optimizing digital technology only as one simple tool of many others in a process to produce a final object. The three legged coat rack balance each other in two connection points. The connection gives the illusion of a unbalanced form, and create differrent elevations when moving around the object. Each of the legs has a different profile to give it as many visual readings as possible in different times of the day as the shadows change.
